Angel Pagan rescued off Puerto Rico after boat capsizes
  • Baseball Former outfielder Angel Pagan and two others were rescued at sea Tuesday off the coast of Puerto Rico after a 15-foot wave capsized their boat. Pagan, former minor league pitcher Orlando Roman and a teenager were on a boat about 30 miles from San Juan when bad weather hit, authorities told local media site Con Las Bases Llenas. He played in a career-high 154 games that year and hit .288 with 95 runs scored and 29 stolen bases. Pagan, 37, became a free agent in 2017 but opted to take the season off to spend more time with his family and hasn't returned to the field since."I am now dedicating myself to focusing more on my family," Pagan told El Vocero in 2017. "Devoting the time that my family deserves. I've spent a lot of time away from home."In 1,124 career games, Pagan was a .280 hitter with 1,143 hits and 339 extra-base hits.[......]

    Yoenis Cespedes breaks ankle in ranch accident
