Orioles' Buck Showalter could see Chris Davis saga going into March

Baseball Orioles manager Buck Showalter doesn't expect free-agent slugger Chris Davis' situation to be resolved soon, perhaps even into spring training,  the Baltimore Sun reported .Showalter said Monday at a team minicamp that he’s “not surprised” that Davis’ free agency has dragged this deep into winter, in part because the first baseman is represented by agent Scott Boras. “That’s not surprising at all the way that camp does business,” Showalter said. “It wouldn’t surprise me if it went to February.
