Wizards center Marcin Gortat is forking over some cash for a flop.

During the fourth quarter of the Wizards' 88-84 victory over the Jazz on Wednesday night, Gortat had an overly dramatic reaction to a small shove in the back from Rodney Hood. The league office announced Thursday that Gortat's reaction has cost him $5,000, since it was second offense of the NBA’s anti-flopping policy.

You can see the video of Gortat's flop on the league's website. The Wizards' big man goes flying with flailing arms on what looked like minimal contact from Hood.

Gortat tweeted out his reaction to the fine Thursday afternoon:

He clearly doesn't like the idea of handing the NBA a pile of cash, so maybe we won't

see a third offense from the Polish center this season.
